Ayurvedic hair care,from the roots.

Hair fall, dandruff and a dull scalp have causes beyond the hair itself. Your doctor looks at diet, digestion, stress, sleep and scalp care first, then plans therapies and home care around you.

Assessment

What your doctor looks at.

Every plan starts with a consultation. Your doctor asks about:

  • When the hair fall or flaking started, how much, and whether it comes out from the root or breaks
  • Scalp: itching, flakes, oiliness, redness or patches
  • Recent illness, fever, surgery, childbirth, crash dieting or stress in the last few months
  • Diet, digestion, sleep, periods (where relevant), thyroid or other conditions and medicines
  • Hair routine: washing, oiling, heat, colour, tight hairstyles

Bring a list of your medicines and any recent reports. You leave knowing what is likely behind the concern and what your plan involves, including its cost, before anything begins.

Is it right for you?

Who this care suits.

Often suited to

  • Increased hair fall after stress, illness or diet changes
  • Dandruff and an itchy, flaky scalp
  • Dry, rough or breaking hair
  • An oily scalp
  • Wanting a doctor-led scalp and hair routine

See a doctor or specialist first if you have

  • Round bald patches, or hair loss that is sudden and fast
  • A scalp that is red, painful, scaly in thick plaques, or scarring
  • Hair loss with tiredness, weight change, irregular periods or other new symptoms
  • Hair loss that began after starting a new medicine (keep taking it and ask your prescriber)
  • Hair loss in a child

If any of these apply, tell us when you book. Your doctor may ask you to see a dermatologist or physician, or to have tests, before therapies.

Questions

Good to know.

How is hair fall or dandruff treated at CosmoAyu?

Your doctor starts by looking at the likely cause, from diet and digestion to stress, sleep and scalp care. In-clinic therapies such as Shiro Abhyanga, Shirolepa and Kesha Dhoopan are combined with home care and reviewed at each visit.

What happens at my first consultation?

Your doctor asks about your concern, health history, digestion, sleep, stress, diet and routine, and evaluates your dosha. You leave knowing what is likely behind the problem and what your treatment will involve.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your concern and how your skin or hair responds. Your doctor suggests a plan at the first consultation and adjusts it at each review.

How much do treatments cost?

Every treatment is personalised. Your doctor explains the recommended treatment and its cost at your consultation, before anything begins.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. The clinic is open from 10 AM to 8 PM, and all consultations and treatments are by prior appointment. Book with the form, or call or WhatsApp our appointments number, +91 92265 24516.
